How does it work?

Talk To Aliens In Real Time is a website that lets you send messages into outer space. It offers a number of different destinations to send your message to.

Simply choose a destination and write your message to the stars.

You will then receive a tracking code which lets you track the progress of your message as it travels with the speed of light towards its destination.

Don't know what to say yet? You can view a random message to see what other users have written so far.

What will be sent?

In reality nothing will be sent. Talk To Aliens In Real Time is just a simulation and the messages will not actually be sent anywhere. Why? It's complicated and potentially expensive. And also controversial, as you can read here, for example.
